So long Bogi!
After the De’Andre Hunter trade, the next shoe has dropped for the Hawks. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been traded to the Clippers for a couple of younger players in return:

Bogdanovic was acquired in the summer of 2020 when the Hawks offered him a four-year, $72 million restricted free agency offer sheet that the Sacramento Kings chose not to match. In the years since, he’s been a steady presence in the Hawks backcourt, averaging 15.1 points per game on 38% shooting from three in the 4.5 years spent in Atlanta.
Three second-round picks also go out with him, but incoming are also guards Terance Mann and Nah’Shon ‘Bones’ Hyland. Mann is a productive two-way player averaging 8.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in his career since being drafted out of the second round by the Clippers.
Bones Hyland broke out as a rookie with the Denver Nuggets back in 2021-22, but he fell out of favor there and was shipped to LA the next season. While his minutes since have been rather inconsistent, he gets a chance to prove he’s at least backup point guard caliber in the NBA with this move to Atlanta.
Thanks for everything, Bogi!
