The 81st and 82nd games on the schedule have been finalized. With the elimination of the Atlanta Hawks from the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament, the team will instead fill the week of December 4th with two games against Eastern Conference foes.

On Wednesday, December 6, the Hawks will play the Brooklyn Nets at home and two days later on Friday, December 8, they will travel to Philadelphia to take on a surging 76ers squad in a rematch from the In-Season Tournament East Group A stages. This pair of games comes on the heels of a 5-game road stand — as originally scheduled — that ends with a game in San Antonio against the Spurs tonight and one on Saturday in Milwaukee to take on the Bucks.
The four winners of the quarterfinals games will head to Las Vegas and face off to complete the single-elimination tournament portion of the challenge, with the semifinals held on December 7 and the final game on December 9. One can only hope and wish that the Hawks will find themselves in Sin City next year.
