The Atlanta Hawks have decided not to exercise their $4.83 million option on David Roddy for the 25-26 season. Roddy will become an unrestricted free agent next season.
Roddy was drafted 23rd overall in 2022 by the Memphis Grizzlies and was traded to the Phoenix Suns at last year’s trade deadline. Roddy was then traded to the Hawks last July.
In two games this season, Roddy is averaging 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 19.5 minutes.
