The Atlanta Hawks have stumbled to 12-16 and are currently outside of the postseason picture at 11th in the Eastern Conference. On the positive front, Atlanta could be getting Jalen Johnson back from a wrist injury as soon as Tuesday.
Johnson hasn’t played since November 25, when he suffered a fracture in his left wrist. Prior to that, Johnson had started in 12 of 15 games for the Hawks. He was averaging career-highs nearly across the board.
The 6-foot-8 forward was scoring 14.1 points and grabbing 7.3 rebounds, to go along with 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals and a block per game. Atlanta’s team defense has also suffered without Johnson in the lineup.
