On multiple occasions, LeBron James has made it known that he hopes to one day take the NBA court alongside his oldest son, Bronny.
In a recent ESPN mock draft for the 2024 class, Bronny was slotted in at No. 17 to the Atlanta Hawks.
In response to this prediction, LeBron took to Instagram with this message:
“Wellllll ATL shawty the #JamesGang will be pulling up!” he wrote.

Bronny, a five-star recruit and McDonalds All-American, recently committed to play for the USC Trojans this coming college basketball season. The eldest son of the James family will wear his father’s No. 6 jersey in what is likely to be a one-and-done season in Southern California.
LeBron’s current contract with the Lakers is structured in a way that he can follow Bronny wherever he gets drafted for his rookie season. After this coming NBA season, the all-time great forward has a player option for the 2024-25 campaign.
If LeBron commits to signing with whomever drafts his son in the 2024 draft, Bronny’s stock could spike well higher than this No. 17 overall prediction.
