State Farm Arena in Atlanta had an embarrassing scheduling snafu become reality last night.
Because of their Game 5 win over Boston to stave off elimination, the Atlanta Hawks earned a return home for Game 6 on Thursday night.
The problem? There was already a Janet Jackson concert scheduled for Thursday night at State Farm.

Officially, the concert, which is part of Jackson’s “Together Again” tour, has been moved to Friday, but not before there was plenty of chatter on social media about the conflict.
“Sorry not sorry to this LEGEND.. Hope she can be at the game now!” said Hawks star Trae Young.

“Even the Hawks arena didn’t think there’d be a Game 6,” said Anna Horford, the sister of Celtics big man Al Horford.

“I’ve been laughing at this since yesterday. They really thought they Hawks would be out of the playoffs already. And given their track record, I kinda don’t blame them,” said another commenter.

“Jake from State Farm thought he was clocking in for a normal day on the phones,” joked college football writer Wes Blankenship.

Game 6 of Hawks-Celtics will take place tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m. ET, with Janet moving to Friday.
A win by Atlanta would force Game 7 in Boston on Saturday.
