A trip out west to San Diego and Los Angeles will open the Braves’ season in 2025.
The Atlanta Braves have announced their schedule for the 2025 season.

The season will begin on the west coast in San Diego on March 27 against the Padres. The club will then make the quick trip to Los Angeles to square off with the Dodgers in a marquee matchup between two of the NL’s top clubs. It may not be ideal for the team to open the season 2,000 miles from home, but getting a difficult west coast road trip out of the way when everyone is fresh will pay dividends during the dog days of summer. It also increases the chances the team won’t run into bad weather and needing to postpone games to later dates.
The Braves will then fly home to open up Truist Park against a pair of NL East foes: the Marlins on April 4-6 and the Phillies on April 8-10.
Among some of the other home highlights: the Yankees will visit Truist the weekend after the All Star Game and the Orioles will be in town for the 4th of July.
While we can never predict what teams will look like more than a calendar year from now, it appears the Braves will have a favorable schedule in the final two weeks of the 2025 season. The final roadtrip will consist of the Nationals and Tigers before returning home to face the Nationals and Pirates to close out the regular season.
