The Braves add additional players to the organization.
The Atlanta Braves have added more members to their 2025 international free agent class, with Venezuelan shortstop Angel Carmona the headliner from this group.
Carmona, a 6’1” infielder, is projected to stay in the middle infield, accordingly BaseballAmerica, with a line-drive approach at the plate.
Other signees, also from Venezuela, include shortstop Manuel Campos; catchers Yoelvis Betancourt and Johan Rodriguez; right handed pitchers Wuillinger Tovar, Diego Areinamo, Jacksel Labastida, and Jesus Cova; and left handed pitcher Luisberth Valdez.
This is in addition to the additionally reported signings and may wrap-up the organization’s international free agent spending for 2025.
