Atlanta Braves news and notes from Friday.
The Atlanta Braves bid another farewell to a fan-favorite, as free agent A.J. Minter inked a two-year, $22M deal with the New York Mets.
The left-hander has suited up for the Braves since he debuted with them in 2017. He owns a career 3.28 ERA and had some clutch moments in Atlanta, though his 2024 season was cut short due to a hip injury that required surgery.
May we never forget his start in Game 5 of the 2021 NLCS.
