The day has finally arrived, and pitchers and catchers are having their first workout of 2025. Beforehand, the Atlanta Braves reportedly added another reliever to the mix, after signing Jake Diekman to a minor league deal. He also received an invitation to Spring Training.
In addition to the deal, pitchers Chad Kuhl and Dylan Covey will also join in at Spring Training.

38-year-old Diekman spent the 2024 campaign with the New York Mets, but he was designated for assignment then released over the summer. Before his release, he logged 43 games with a 5.63 ERA.
As for Kuhl and Covey, the two experienced hurlers will add some depth to the organization.
