Atlanta Braves news and notes from Tuesday.

It was a quiet day for the Atlanta Braves on the news front. As for a few other clubs, the National League and American League Division Series are still in full swing. The New York Mets are up on the Philadelphia Phillies and lead the NLDS 2-1. The San Diego Padres are up 2-1 on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

In the American League, the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers are even at one apiece, as well as the New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals.
