Not an ideal start to the season for Atlanta.
Every team is going to have a bad week or two during a 162-game season. And for the Braves, starting a season 0-4 is something they have done as recently as 2021. Furthermore, if you are going to snuggle, best to get it out of the way at the start of the season.
There are clearly concerns at the moment for Atlanta. A shaky bullpen plus a lineup that can’t get a hit with runner’s in scoring position is obviously not a winning combination. The fact that the Braves are now starting the week with the reigning World Series Champion Dodgers also does not help.
However, the starting rotation has been very good to start they year, and the Braves bats are making a lot of loud contact. Once the first win happens, and hopefully soon, they will start to happen more frequently. Just gotta weather the storm to really take off as we all know this team is capable of doing.
