Braves kick off week with a big series against rival Phillies.
As Tuesday arrives, a big early season series does as well for the Braves. The Phillies arrive to town, holding up to expectations as one of the best teams in baseball as the season starts. Atlanta, of course, is in the midst of early season struggles, and a series against the Phillies seems to be an even taller task that it was a few weeks ago.
However, after a few days off, and with Chris Sale on the mound (even versus Zach Wheeler), the Braves could start to gather momentum with a needed victory on Tuesday. The offense has done better versus quality arms this year than some might expect, so if Atlanta could find some early success on Tuesday, a win could be the result.
