The Braves lost one of the most well-known members of Braves country on Sunday.
As the offseason rolls along for baseball as a whole, it remains a relatively quiet one for the Braves. And yet, plenty of offseason reminds, as today offers a reminder of how one unexpected move can make an entire offseason significantly better. A year ago today, the Braves acquired Chris Sale from the Red Sox, In time, it could be argued it was the most successful move of Alex Anthopoulos’s time in Atlanta so far as Sale would win the 2024 NL Cy Young.
Perhaps this could bring positive vibes that the Braves will soon make a significant move. Multiple needs remain to address, and Atlanta still has plenty of time to find solutions.
