Some more news and notes as we are one day closer to Spring Training Games beginning.
If you continue to see Drake Baldwin more and more in articles on Battery Power in recent weeks, it is both for good reason and a good sign. In the midst of the time of year where many outlets are revealing their top 100 prospects lists across baseball, Baldwin continues to shine among his peers. Perhaps his most aggressive hype to date was in the form of the Fangraphs top 100 list, and the same can be said for fellow Braves prospect AJ Smith Shawver ( Numbers 11 and 40 on list.)
The key takeaway is that both prospects are knocking on the door to be contributors in Atlanta, and over the next 12 months, that door could open even further. It will be exciting to once again see what they can do.
Braves Rumors
Justin Toscano writes on how Orlando Arcia is focused on a bounce back season in Atlanta.
Mark Bowman relooks at the comments from Alex Anthopoulos last week.
Do you prefer day or night baseball? Over the next month or so, it will almost be exclusively during the day, while nearly 80% of the Braves games (at least at home) during each regular season are usually at night. It is is an interesting debate.
