Friday night marked the non-tender deadline, and five Atlanta Braves are now free agents. Of the arbitration-eligible players, the Braves decided to non-tender RHP Griffin Canning, LHP Ray Kerr, RHP Royber Salinas, RHP Huascar Ynoa, and OF Ramón Laureano.

Jarred Kelenic, Dylan Lee, and Eli White each made the cut and had their contracts tendered.
With this deadline officially behind us, the Winter Meetings will begin shortly, and it’s a great time for the Braves to make some moves.

The coaching staff has changed again as the Braves have promoted minor league coach Carlos Mendez and hired Hugh Quattlebaum to join Tim Hyers, the club’s new hitting coach.
The Braves signed outfielder Carlos D. Rodriguez to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal. The 23-year-old was previously with the Milwaukee Brewers.

The New York Mets signed catcher Jakson Reetz to a minor league deal with an invite to major league Spring Training.
