Some interesting news bits for the Braves on Monday.
While the Braves still have remained quiet in terms of an actual move that directly helps a remaining need for this team, Monday brought with it a reminder that they are active to get these moves done. The biggest evidence of this came on Monday, as the Mark Bowman revealed the Braves had a deal with former Phillies reliever Jeff Hoffman. However, Hoffman failed his physical with the Braves just as he did with the Orioles. Hoffman eventually signed with the Blue Jays.
