
Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday.
After a tie ballgame in the seventh and a rain delay, the Atlanta Braves closed the door on the Philadelphia Phillies in walk-off fashion, 4-2. The game-winner came off the bat of Marcell Ozuna, who blasted a two run home run in the bottom of the 11th.

Things were swell on the other side of the ball, too, as Spencer Schwellenbach lasted six innings of one-run ball. He struck out five and walked two.
Up next, the Braves head south for a three-game set with the Tampa Bay Rays.

In what was likely his final rehab start before joining the Braves, Spencer Strider struck out 13 of the 21 batters he faced.

Seattle Mariners infielder Ryan Bliss was recently placed on the 10-day injured list with a torn left biceps. Thursday, an MRI revealed that he would require surgery and is expected to need 4-5 months to recover.
The Los Angeles Angels placed third baseman Yoan Moncada on the 10-day injured list with a thumb strain. In a corresponding move, the club selected the contract of J.D. Davis.
