Atlanta Braves news and notes from Wednesday
Well the Braves’ season informally started, as pitchers and catchers reported, with most of the team now present at Spring Training. In stark contrast to last year’s chorus of “World Series or bust”, the team appears to be taking a more measured tone of confidence after a struggle of a 2024 season. Ronald Acuna Jr. has reportedly been in top form…in batting practice at least. It is a very good sign to see him doing well in mid-February, with plenty of time until the regular season starts to continue recovering from his second ACL tear. In other news, the uniforms seem to be back to their old quality, so we don’t have to deal with that scandal again.
