Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday.
Major League Baseball’s award season is in full swing, and on Thursday, the league announced its winners of the Most Valuable Player award. Both unanimously, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers earned the honors.
Atlanta Braves Marcell Ozuna and Chris Sale each made the ballot, with Ozuna finishing fourth and Sale in seventh.
Marcell Ozuna finished fourth and Cy Young winner Chris Sale was seventh in NL MVP balloting. They were the only #Braves named on any of the 30 MVP ballots, which go 10 deep.
