Atlanta Braves news and notes from Wednesday
We had a day full of quality content before the season starts in earnest, with predictions, franchise valuations from Forbes, and final offseason thoughts. I will give a couple of thoughts of my own here: 1. Try to enjoy the regular season for what it is, with Braves players doing fun and cool stuff and don’t let the postseason define any of that. The regular season is a much larger time investment and the postseason is too random to get too upset about. 2. This Braves team is very good and I think the starting rotation and offense are going to be elite. The bullpen projects to be solid, but is the most vulnerable of the three groups. 3. Let’s enjoy some Braves baseball!

Over at The Athletic, Keith Law predicted that the Braves would win the World Series, which is simultaneously lukewarm, because the Braves are projected as the second best team in baseball, and mildly spicy, because the Dodgers have an absurd roster and are also in the NL.
Mark went into a mystical exercise to generate some (for entertainment purposes only) predictions for the Braves’ pitching staff.
