
Atlanta Braves news and notes from Tuesday.
The Atlanta Braves wasted no time and made a series of roster moves on Tuesday, trimming it down to 56 players in camp. First up, pitchers Dylan Dodd and Hurston Waldrep were optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett. Then, fellow right-handers Enoli Paredes and Royber Salinas were reassigned to minor league camp.

The demotions of Dodd and Waldrep were a bit of a surprise, considering the two seemed to have a decent shot at making the starting rotation.
