Atlanta Braves right-hander Spencer Strider is nearing his return after it was announced Friday that he would be making a rehab start tonight for Triple-A Gwinnett.

Though Strider has not appeared in a regular season game since last April, he did make two starts this spring. He logged a total of four innings, struck out ten, and gave up three runs.
Strider’s rehab assignment is huge news for Atlanta, as it is finally a sign that we will see him in the majors again shortly.
