There’s no makeup date because it’s Spring Training, baby
Do y’all remember when the Florida Fire Frogs existed but they played all of about three games ever because it rained non-stop in the “Sunshine” State for the entirety of their time on this earth?
Well, related to that, today’s Braves-Orioles Spring Training matchup was first postponed from 1:05 pm ET to 4:05 pm ET, but then the Orioles went ahead and just scuppered the whole thing.
Today’s game versus the Atlanta Braves at Ed Smith Stadium has been cancelled due to rain. There will be no makeup date.

So, you’ll have to wait another day to get a look at Reynaldo Lopez going into a Braves Spring Training without “fighting” for a rotation spot, and whatever else you were hoping to see.
The Braves are scheduled for split-squad action tomorrow, at home against the Red Sox and on the road against the Pirates. It doesn’t look like rain is in the forecast for either of those afternoon games in either North Port or Bradenton, so presumably you can get your Spring Training fix in then.
