Good news after a scary wrist injury a few weeks ago.
Jurickson Profar will return to the Braves lineup on Thursday after missing some time with a bone bruise in his wrist.
Profar is scheduled to return to the #Braves lineup Thursday and play the rest of the spring games.

The Braves feared the worst a couple weeks ago when Profar dove for a ball in the outfield and appeared to seriously injure his wrist, a play that is unfortunately not uncommon for outfielders laying out for a ball. Profar went for tests immediately after the game that revealed a bone bruise in his wrist, which was a best-case scenario for the outfielder.
Profar was out for a week before he began taking batting practice last Friday. It seems like the wrist injury is behind him now, and he’ll have a full week to ramp up preparations for opening day against Profar’s old team in San Diego.
With Ronald Acuña Jr. still rehabbing from his knee injury, Profar is expected to be Atlanta’s leadoff hitter to begin the season. Look for Profar to bat second when Acuña Jr. returns.
