That isn’t too bad for Atlanta, but who is ahead of them is.
The Atlanta Braves are winding down Spring Training 2025, as is all of MLB, so it figures that it is time for the regular season prognostications to start pouring in from various sources.
MLB.com has release their “final” power rankings before the start of the regular season – which starts on March 18 with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs squaring off in Japan for a two-game series.
In this power ranking, the Braves are ranked as the third best team in all of MLB. The Dodgers are number one – which is not surprising – but the team at number two is sure to draw the ire of Braves fans. At the second position sits Atlanta’s NL East division rival Philadelphia Phillies.
It’s time to play the game.

Directly behind the Braves are the New York Mets. Also in the top 10 are the San Diego Padres, against whom Atlanta opens the regular season.
