Michael Harris drops to 8th in the lineup as the Braves stack their righties up top.
The Braves have a chance to win their first series of the season on Thursday night against the division rival Phillies. For just the second time this year, Atlanta will see a left-handed starting pitcher as Jesus Luzardo is set to take the mound.
To combat the lefty, Brian Snitker altered his lineup a bit. Ozzie Albies moves up a spot to lead off, while Michael Harris II, who has been the team’s primary leadoff hitter since Jurickson Profar’s suspension, drops all the way down to 8th. Stuart Fairchild is in right field in place of Jarred Kelenic, while Bryan De La Cruz mans the other corner.
For the third night in a row since returning from the Injured List, Sean Murphy is catching and batting fifth in the order. Look for Murphy to get a breather in the next day or two so Drake Baldwin can get a few reps.
