The outfielder finds a new home after ending the 2024 season in Atlanta.
The Baltimore Orioles have added to their mix in the outfield by adding Ramón Laureano to the organization via a one year, $4M deal. Laureano ended the 2024 season with the Atlanta Braves.

In 67 games with the Braves, the 30-year old outfielder produced 1.1 fWAR, with elite arm strength and incredible batted ball luck to the tune of a .380 BABIP in 226 plate appearances with Atlanta.
Laureano began the 2024 season with the Cleveland Guardians but was released by the organization in late May. He subsequently joined the Braves and became a regular in the line-up after injuries to both Ronald Acuńa, Jr. and Michael Harris II depleted the team’s outfield depth.
With Atlanta, the seven-year MLB veteran slashed .296/.327/.505 with 10 home runs and five stolen bases.
Earlier this offseason, Atlanta added free agent outfielder Jurickson Profar to be the team’s starting left fielder and should have Acuńa, Jr. back sometime in May. The team also added Bryan De La Cruz to the outfield mix with holdovers Harris II, Jarred Kelenic and Eli White.
