Sean Murphy is back in the Braves’ lineup for Thursday’s game against Washington.
Ray Kerr will make his second career start for the Atlanta Braves Thursday as they look to salvage a series split against the Washington Nationals. Right-hander Trevor Williams will get the start for Washington.
Michael Harris moves back to the leadoff spot for the Braves in Thursday’s game. Orlando Arcia slots into the sixth spot in the order and will be followed by Sean Murphy, Adam Duvall and Jarred Kelenic. Arcia has six hits in his career against Williams including a homer.

For the Nationals, Lane Thomas is hitting second and playing right field. Joey Meneses gets the start at first base and will hit third against the lefty Kerr. Nick Senzel, who left Wednesday’s game with an injury, is back in the lineup at third base and batting sixth.
