In yesterday’s installment of the Best Bets series, we learned a few things. First, do not underestimate the ability of the Cleveland Guardians to disappoint you. Second, Masataka Yoshida is allergic to hitting baseballs when we have money on him. In the three games we have had action on him, he has gone 1/13, with 0 RBI, and two strikeouts. Mind you, the rookie phenom is triple slashing .304/.366/.481 on the season, truly a statistical anomaly. I just thought that was interesting.
Moving swiftly on. There are much more important things to worry about today, as it is in fact Tuesday, and that does in fact mean that it is Dinger Tuesday!

Angels @ Braves
As we have alright have quite a bit of action out for the Dinger Tuesday promo, we will only be targeting one game today. That matchup is going to be the Los Angeles Angels at the Atlanta Braves. This matchup contains what is likely to be the most exciting hitter/ pitcher battles of the season. The Alien, Shohei Ohtani, faces off against the strikeout-God Spencer Strider. I’m giving the edge to Strider and Braves at home.
The Pick: PPD Spencer Strider 9+ Ks / Braves to Win (-125) 1U
Matt Olson 1+ RBI (-105) 0.25U
