Which of the Braves’ foes will hit the wall this year?
The Braves look to have a great lineup coming back in 2025. Once Ronald Acuña returns from injury, they’ll really get rolling. But it’s not enough to see the Braves succeed; someone else needs to fail. I wonder which of the NL East best position players will take a step back this year.

Here’s a summary of the NL East’s notable position players with their Fangraphs projections. A cursory glance shows some pretty good candidates. For one, Bryce Harper will probably perform somewhat close to his projections on a rate basis, but expecting him to play 665 plate appearances may cause some disappointment. He made 631 last year, but that was his most since 2019. Juan Soto could be a winner (or biggest loser?) in this competition. He will have a big year, but if he’s playing in New York with an enormous contract how will it ever be enough for Mets fans?
Of course, Profar and Murphy are right there if you’re a Debbie Downer. Anyway, talk among yourselves.
