Dylan Raiola, a five-star quarterback recruit from the class of 2024, saw two schools recently.
Raiola’s father, former Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola, told 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong they visited Georgia Tech on Friday morning and went to Georgia the following day.
He spoke fondly of their recruiting trip with the Yellow Jackets, during which they met head coach Brent Key, quarterbacks coach Chris Weinke, and offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner.
“We started at Georgia Tech and that was great,” Dominic said. “It was our first time meeting Coach Key and Coach Weinke. The highlight was definitely getting to spend time with Coach Faulkner and his family.”

The Raiolas had already seen Georgia multiple times before going back to visit the reigning champions Saturday.
“It was our sixth time being back in Athens, and it never fails to deliver,” Dominic said. “We got to take in meetings and their first padded practice. Everything about that place is elite. Coach [Kirby’ Smart is the best in the business. It’s an ultra-competitive environment and that excites Dylan.”
On3 and 247Sports each peg Raiola as the top recruit from 2024. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound quarterback has received dozens of scholarship offers before his senior year at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix.
Wiltfong is one of three Crystal Ball experts who think the star recruit will choose USC. Three other insiders chose his father’s alma mater, Nebraska. Both the older and younger Raiola attended a Huskers men’s basketball game in Lincoln last month.
Per Wiltfong, Dylan Raiola recently visited USC and will go to Nebraska again next weekend. He’s also scheduled to attend Oregon’s spring game next month.
