Here’s how the FTRS staff thinks Tech will do against UNC!
Benjamin Tankersley
Georgia Tech wins 48-14.
UNC has been very bad this year. Georgia Tech showed last week that they have a healthy Jamal Haynes, and frankly, I think this one is going to be personal for the Yellow Jackets. I wouldn’t be surprised for this to be all but over by halftime.
Logan Sandor
Georgia Tech wins 35-20.
I’m expecting this game to be quite boring despite the hype of playing against our former head coach. UNC has some success through the air early, but they cannot score consistently. Tech’s offense carries us. GT should coast after some early scores in the second half.
Jack Purdy
Georgia Tech wins 100-0 31-17
There’s no two ways about this, Tech should win handedly. UNC is mired in their own muck of their own creation. Both the offense and defense have been pretty average. Even though they allowed 70 in a game, they still scored nearly 100 points in consecutive games, so it’s not like the offense is inept. But, we saw progress from the defense last week. They can cause trouble at the line with just four guys, allowing our secondary to have more bodies available. The offense is fine. We aren’t the best but an average day from them combined with the defensive improvement has me hopeful (I know, bold of a Tech fan to say that word!). I am here to break the psychological mold of how we approach our football team. Jackets by a million.
