We all know what game week this is for the Dawgs. We all had this particular Saturday circled on our calendars the moment the schedule was announced. While the college football world will be focused on Tuscaloosa, let’s see who else is making noise across the southeast.
Here’s what’s happening around the SEC.
- Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze declared that if they played Arkansas nine more times, that they would win nine times. Needless to say, things are unraveling quickly on the Plains, and we all know Auburn boosters are the most patient and level-headed bunch in college football.
- Mississippi State quarterback Blake Shapen is out for the year with a shoulder injury. We wish Blake a speedy and complete recovery. Needless to say, it’s a rough season in Starkville.
- Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman will be a game-time decision for the Aggies’ game against Arkansas.
- Oklahoma will start Michael Hawkins Jr. over Jackson Arnold on Saturday against Auburn following Hawkins’ solid performance at the end of the Sooners’ loss against Tennessee.
GO DAWGS!!!
