It’s Clean, Old Fashioned Hate Week, and it’s a shorter week than normal with the game being played on Friday night. This season has flown by, and while the level of dominance the Dawgs have spoiled us with the past few seasons isn’t quite there, all of Georgia’s goals are still in front of them.
While we prepare for a day of thanks, turkey, and barking at our Tech relatives, let’s take a look at what’s happening around the SEC.
- Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and Auburn freshman linebacker Demarcus Riddick have gotten into a war of words ahead of the Iron Bowl. Now, usually, Riddick prodding the bear would be ill-advised, but this is a different, Saban-less Bama team. It’s likely the Tide will roll the Tigers, but maybe Riddick’s juice will inspire Auburn to an upset and realllllly dampen Kalen DeBoer’s first season.
- Texas freshman RB Jerrick Gibson has announced a new NIL partnership with Maserati of Austin. It’s a shame Gus Johnson doesn’t call SEC games or else he would be dubbed Maserati Jerrick. Or maybe those types of nicknames and plaudits are solely reserved for the “World Famous” Ohio State.
- The Texas A&M-Texas game appears to have become the most expensive regular season football game on record with a get-in price of $741 and an average price of $1,079.
- Missouri junior wide receiver Luther Burden will walk with the seniors on Senior Day this weekend. This should not come as a shock, as Burden is projected to be a first round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
GO DAWGS!!!
