The much-anticipated Austin trip is upon the Dawgs, and while we prep for another massive game for Georgia, let’s take a look at the headline makers across the league.
Here’s what’s happening around the SEC.
- It’s been a brutal week for injuries. Florida quarterback Graham Mertz and Tennessee linebacker Keenan Pili are both out for the season with torn ACLs. Here’s hoping they both have a complete and speedy recovery.
- Ole Miss legend Dexter McCluster has been inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. In the words of Obi Wan Kenobi: “That’s not a name I’ve heard in a long time.”
- Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold could be redshirted for the remainder of the season. A former five-star recruit, Arnold began the season as the Sooner’s starting quarterback.
- Vanderbilt keeps on chugging away after beating Kentucky in Lexington 20-13. Quarterback Diego Pavia is even getting a bit of Heisman buzz, which we would be incredibly here for.
