Former Georgia star Brock Bowers and his girlfriend are ready for Sin City.
Taking to social media after the Bulldogs tight end was selected 13th overall by the Las Vegas Raiders, Cameron Rose Newell posted a photo to celebrate the momentous occasion with the caption: “Next stop Vegas!!”
Fans were quick to welcome the couple to the Silver and Black.
“Welcome to The Nation!FYI It’s RAAAIIIIDDDDEEERRRSSSS!” a user replied.
“awwww this is so exciting!!!” another said.
“Welcome to Las Vegas you guys!”
“Can’t say I didn’t want y’all to stay in Georgia, cause the Falcons can use all the help they can get, but couldn’t be more happy and excited for you both,” an UGA fan commented.
“Congratulations, Brock! You gave us the best years we’ve lived at Georgia, brother! Go kill it in Vegas! Best of luck to both of y’all as your futures together unfold.”
The Raiders were quick to snatch up Bowers after the All-American made it past the top 10. Few pass-catchers had the kind of impact the Dawgs TE had on Georgia’s offense and he projects to be just as productive in the NFL.
Las Vegas is certainly excited to have him.
