Former President Donald Trump was in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night to watch Alabama and Georgia square off in an instant classic.
Alabama jumped out to a 30-7 halftime lead thanks to Jalen Milroe’s ability to break down Georgia’s defense with his arm and legs. Despite trailing by 23 points at halftime, the Bulldogs never gave up. Kirby Smart’s squad actually took the lead with a few minutes left before Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams sent the crowd into a frenzy with his epic 75-yard touchdown reception. A late stop from the Crimson Tide’s defense was enough to secure the victory.
During last night’s game at Bryant-Denny Stadium, the people operating the video board showed Trump standing in his suite. Once he went on the screen, the crowd showed him love.
In fact, Trump received a standing ovation from Alabama fans on Saturday night. It must have been a pretty cool scene for the 45th president of the United States.

Trump actually had an interview with OutKick at halftime of the Alabama-Georgia game. He wisely said it wasn’t over despite how large the Crimson Tide’s lead was after two quarters.
“Well, he’s been great,” Trump said. “The team has been great. I don’t know, Georgia has been off. Nothing is ever over – you know that – but they’re certainly playing great.”
It’s unclear if Trump will attend another Alabama game later this season. Perhaps he’ll make a trip after the election is over.
Trump is running for president once again this November. He’s going up against Kamala Harris. They had a debate that was hosted by ABC earlier this month.
