Happy Friday the 13th, Dawg fans. Don’t let today be filled with dread or fear – that’s currently reserved for fans of Florida and Florida State.
The SEC injury report for Georgia vs. Kentucky now lists DL Jordan Hall as being out and DL Warren Brinson downgraded to doubtful. Depth on the DL has been an issue all season, and hopefully we can some players back, i.e. Xzavier McLeod who is listed as questionable.
As for former Dawgs, James Cook had quite the homecoming in Miami, scoring three touchdowns in the first half alone. Apologies to those playing against him in fantasy football.
There was also some big news out west in college football. The Pac-12 has invited Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State, and Colorado State to join the conference, combining with Washington State and Oregon State to form a six-school conference. They are now two schools away from qualifying as a conference large enough to contend for one of the five highest ranked conference champ spots of the CFP. Surely, at least two more schools will be joining soon. UNLV? Hawaii? North Dakota State?? Realignment roulette starts again!
