First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by Hurricane Helene. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and let’s hope the harm is minimal from the storm.
Moving to a more lighthearted subject – football – the Dawgs are finishing up their prep work for Alabama. There was only one minor change to the injury report on Thursday, and that was WR Sacovie White being downgraded from questionable to doubtful. Mykel Williams and Jordan Hall remained questionable, and Warren Brinson remains probable.
In college football news, the ADs of the SEC and Big Ten are planning to meet next month in Nashville to discuss the future of college football. Topics will include the ongoing legislation over the sport, the postseason format, and future scheduling arrangements.
Finally, those in Dawg Nation will be happy to hear that it appears Atlanta will be awarded the Super Bowl in 2028. We can only cross our fingers that they’ll actually allow the halftime show to have an Atlanta and/or Southern flavor this time around.
Comments are open to discuss the Bama game, the news above, or the impact of the storm. Stay safe, y’all, and GO DAWGS!!!
