It’s Game Day, ‘Dawgs!
You’ve got a full day ahead of you before a 7:30 kickoff in Tuscaloosa (remember, when you go to the Yellowhammer State you set your watch back an hour and your clock back 20 years). Maybe you’re kicking back with a day full of college football action. Maybe you have errands to run, kids’ soccer games to coach, or storm cleanup to finish. No matter what your day holds, here’s what you need to know Bulldog-wise before you hit the road.
First, get your mind right. It’s time for a business trip:

Also, Jalon Walker may have a future in broadcasting. That was a pretty smooth delivery.
From the “bummer if true” files:
Sources: Georgia star defensive lineman Mykel Williams is a gametime decision for the No. 2 Bulldogs at No. 4 Alabama today. It’s considered a “true gametime decision” with his injured ankle. He’s Mel Kiper Jr.’s No. 4 overall NFL Draft prospect. pic.twitter.com/egRcNvi8gS

We still don’t really know if Mykel Williams will be playing tonight, but it sounds like even if he does he may be limited, which isn’t great for a Bulldog defense that needs pressure on Jalen Milroe.
For her part ESPN’s Holly Rowe believes Williams will go after viewing practice and also that Warren Brinson will return at defensive tackle. That would certainly be excellent news.
Pat Forde’s picking the Dawgs and thinks the key may be letting Carson Beck loose a bit early. I’m inclined to agree. I think if Georgia comes out firing then a lot of pressure moves to Alabama to prove they still have the Saban-era calm under pressure.
Much of the talk this week has centered around Alabama being a home underdog for the first time since 2007 according to the boys in Vegas. That’s no longer the case, as BetMGM has moved the line to Alabama by 1. I hope someone remembers to tell the Tide that they are not in fact being disrespected.
Finally, in human interest news, find yourself a friend like this:
Guys I know @SEC fans are built different but this guy just blew up a float to go rescue his friend who is trapped in a house. They’re going to the Georgia Alabama game and he doesn’t want his friend to miss it. #godawgs #atlanta pic.twitter.com/at5iAz3Ja7

Friends don’t let friends miss the Bama game.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
