With the tremendous success they’ve enjoyed over the past few years, the Georgia football program has seen staffers poached by college and professional teams across the country.
According to Saints insider Nick Underhill, the New Orleans Saints are adding Georgia recruiting analyst Brandon Tamres to their own scouting staff. Prior to working for Georgia, he spent around nine months as the scouting coordinator at Maryland.
“The Saints added Brandon Tamres to their scouting staff as an assistant. He was previously a recruiting analyst at Georgia,” Underhill wrote on X.
The Georgia Bulldogs have been an elite recruiting school for what feels like ages now thanks in no small part to their incredible scouting department. According to 247Sports, their 2024 recruiting class is No. 1 in the country and has been in the top three for each of the past three seasons.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart has clearly done a fantastic job of assembling a staff of people that can close the deal with some of America’s top high school football players and his coaches have done an equally great job of molding those players into both elite college players and a number of solid NFL players to boot.
