Georgia football coach Kirby Smart, joined by Bulldog stars Carson Beck and Jalon Walker, addressed the media this afternoon following the Bulldogs’ emphatic 34-3 victory over Clemson.
Kirby was complementary of the folks who put on the game, as well as effusive toward Dabo Swinney and his staff. He also provided some solid bits and bolts analysis of how the Red and Black pulled away to win big, including:
* How the offense adjusted to put to 28 second half points.
* Why he hesitates to call Malaki Starks the best defensive back in college football, even if Javon Bullard already has.
* An assessment of where Georgia’s running back room stands.
* The thought process that led to allowing Peyton Woodring to attempt (and ultimately hit) a career long field goal in the first half.
* Injury updates on Dillon Bell, Mykel Williams, and Warren Brinson.
* A meditation on the athleticism of Carson Winifred* Beck.
* Much, much more.
Thanks as always to our good friends at Bulldawg Illustrated for their videography. Please check out their handiwork at every opportunity.
Until later…
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
* Not Carson Beck’s middle name. That’s actually Raine. No, I’m serious.
