The Mississippi State Bulldogs are pulling out all of the stops today as they take on the mighty Georgia Bulldogs, with one player going a little overboard to try and save some time.
A video is going viral of a Mississippi State player scrambling to get a timeout called on the field. When it doesn’t go his way, he feigns pulling a hamstring and falls to the ground, much to the sheer embarrassment of everyone who was watching.
“I… hope… this Mississippi State player is ok..” ABC’s Zach Klein wrote in his share of the video.

Fans in the replies were collectively rolling their eyes at such a blatant attempt to try and get some extra time for the Bulldogs.
“Those non-contact injuries are the worst. It’s gotta be season ending,” one user joked.
“It must be something in that water in MS. Seems to have the same affect on every team in the delta plains,” wrote another.
“they need more electrolytes in the water over in mississippi,” a third remarked.
Mississippi State entered the game as 33.5-point underdogs to the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs and started the game well enough by getting a field goal on their opening drive. But Georgia seem to have settled down and already have the lead.
The game is being played on the SEC Network.
