It’s a manic Monday
The preseason honors continue to roll in for Georgia football players. Carson Beck was recently named CBS Sports’ preseason player of the year, among three Bulldogs named first All-American along with Tate Ratledge and Malaki Starks (a unanimous selection). Dylan Fairchild also earned second team honors.
For its part ESPN named rookie safety KJ Bolden a freshman All-American. Bolden’s development, along with that of his fellow young safeties, may actually be one of the more critical stories of the early season for the Red and Black. When you think about how critical Javon Bullard was over the last two seasons in Athens you realize how important filling that hole could truly be.
One of Bolden’a fellow freshmen isn’t getting as much national attention. But outside linebacker Quintavius Jackson is turning heads on the practice field in Athens. I don’t know much, but I do know this: when Kirby Smart goes all in on an overly athletic but under ranked defensive prospect, there’s usually a very good reason.
Finally, you could be forgiven for choosing to stay completely off of social media. Twitter is basically the bar from Star Wars, a wretched hive of scum and villainy, but with memes. However, every so often, it proves itself useful. This thread is absolutely one of those times.
Things that have happened since Tennessee won a national championship

Remember, when reminding Tennessee fans how inconsequential their program has become, you have to unload both barrels then throw that shotgun at ‘em butt first.
Until later…
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
