Another year, another offseason driving arrest for Georgia’s football program.
The Bulldogs, who have had several players arrested for driving incidents during the Kirby Smart era, had another one on Sunday morning.
Georgia freshman wide receiver Sacovie White was arrested early Sunday morning. White, a three-star athlete in the 2024 class, was reportedly arrested on charges of “reckless driving” and another titled “one-way roadway.”
“Per his arrest record, White was booked into the jail at 3:04 a.m., posted a $26 cash bond 16 minutes later and was released exactly one hour later at 4:04 a.m,” On3 reported on Sunday morning.
White was an early enrollee for the Bulldogs program. He’s been with the Bulldogs during the spring season, taking part in practices. White had practiced with Georgia leading up to their New Year’s Six bowl game against Florida State.
The three-star wide receiver committed to Kirby Smart’s program back in October of 2023.
