It’s always a fight in Lexington, ain’t it?
The Bulldog defense has played well except for a handful of penalties and a momentary loss of contain on Brock Vandagriff, and still haven’t surrendered a touchdown on the season.
The offense, well, hasn’t. “Hasn’t what?” you ask. Well, anything, I answer. Carson Beck has 32 passing yards in the first half. Brock Vandagriff has 59. I did not have that one on my bingo card. Throw in injuries to Tate Ratledge, Trevor Etienne, and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins and, frankly, this first half probably couldn’t have gone any worse.
If Georgia makes proper adjustments there’s still every reason to believe the ‘Dawgs can pull this one out. But they have to get some sort of rhythm offensively and convert 3rd downs when necessary.
Otherwise the Red and Black are going to have some serious questions to answer during the bye week.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
