Welcome to the Friday Tailgate, the virtual tent under which we shelter from the still-sweltering Georgia sun while we wait for kickoff. Maestro, now that we’re all here the tailgate music, if you will:
Let’s kick this off by playing our favorite tailgatin’ game, Over or Under? The rules remain so simple a Clemson grad could follow them (as long as you give them a South Carolina grad to help by upping the number of fingers and toes available for counting). I state a statistical proposition related to tomorrow’s football game. You tell me whether what actually happens will be over or under that fictitious number. For example, I say “MaconDawg will eat 2.9 barbecue sandwiches before halftime.” If you think I’ll eat two you say “under.” If you’ve ever seen me at a barbecue joint or tailgate and know that 3 is in the bag, and that other higher numbers aren’t out of the question, you’d say “over.” See? Any easier and it would be covering the spread against Colorado. So I ask you, over or under?
- Carson Beck will throw 3.9 touchdown passes.
- Gunner Stockton will attempt 2.9 passes.
- Jaden Rashada will take 3.9 snaps at quarterback.
- Branson Robinson will have 5.9 rushing attempts.
- Trevor Etienne will have 0.9 rushing attempts.
- Nate Frazier will have 29.9 rushing yards.
- Oscar Delp will have 0.9 touchdown receptions.
- Ben Yurosek will have 0.9 touchdown receptions.
9. Georgia will intercept Cade Klubnik 1.9 times. - The Bulldog defense will surrender 23.9 points.
As always feel free to submit your responses and talk about whatever else you want to in the comments. This will be the landing spot for all Friday night college football action. Y’all be on your best behavior, we’ll see you again on game day.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
