Good Thursday morning Dawg fans, we are now just a couple of days away from the Dawgs kicking-off SEC play on Saturday night as they will take on the Kentucky Wildcats. While there isn’t many headlines this morning Georgia wise, lets still take a look at a couple other things around the Football world.
Moore and Michigan reach contract agreement
First year Michigan Head Coach, Sherrone Moore finalized his contract with the University yesterday morning. Moore’s contract is for five years and his salary starts at 5.5 million per year. It will be interesting to see how things play out for Michigan in the Moore era as they are coming off an embarrassing 31-12 loss to the Texas Longhorns as Moore will more than likely have to rebuild rather than reload within the program.
Dawgs on TNF stage
A few former Dawgs will once again take the NFL stage tonight for TNF as the Buffalo Bills will head down to Miami, Florida to take on the Dolphins. Sedrick Van Pran-Granger and James Cook will represent the Dawgs for the Buffalo Bills as Cook will look to have another big week as he tallied 103 total yards in week one against the Cardinals. Channing Tindall will be the lone Georgia representative on the Dolphins’ roster as he will look to make an impact with his limited playing time. Kick-off for tonight’s game will be at 8:15 p.m. ET and can be viewed on Amazon Prime.
That is all for this Thursday edition of Dawg Bites. As always, Go Dawgs!
