Good Thursday Morning Dawg fans, hope you are all having a solid week as we get closer to a stress-free weekend of College Football. A couple of things to mention and dive into this morning so let’s get right to it.
Former Horns repping Dawgs’ gear following loss
The Georgia-Texas game was the most watched College Football game in the last decade, with plenty of eyes being on it. Some of those eyes came from NFL stars who wanted to cheer on their alma maters in order to gain bragging rights over current teammates. Fortunately for Dawg alums Charlie Woerner and Mecole Hardman, they earned those bragging rights over Texas alums and current teammates Bijan Robinson and Xavier Worthy, as both guys were seen wearing Georgia gear due to lost bets. Man, could you imagine if Bijan was in the Dawg backfield for those National Title teams? Sheesh.

McCarron rips current Alabama culture
During a recent interview for On3, A.J. McCarron made his feelings known about the current culture of Alabama Football. In the interview, McCarron stated “I don’t think you’ll see the same standard from discipline, just things that the team seems to do. It’s a new day and age. Everybody’s worried about f—ing Tik Tok”. McCarron also made it a point to explain how the game itself isn’t a team sport anymore, and how current athletes are only out for themselves. Now is McCarron wrong? No, not really. But does McCarron also sound like your typical old head who is upset with the new generation? Yep. Either way, I’m sure the Bama fanbase is more than likely split on this entire situation. Do you like that a possible culture problem is called out? Probably. Do you want a Program legend ripping the program in a new Coach’s first year? Probably not.
